A Monica Jones called my wife's phone for me. She claimed she was from the County Court and that I had missed a package. She said that I had missed a package and and that they would deliver it on Monday. I am suppose to call this number and reference a certain case file.

Called for my husband. Left a voice mail and said that she was with American Process Statement (then corrected herself and said Server - I guess she isn't clear on what they are calling the company today). She said he had to call the mediation department by 3pm today. Right before she hung up she said to consider himself served. The last time something like this happened it was for Bank of America? We called Bank of America directly because he had never had a BofA account or loan and they had no idea what we were talking about. We even moved up the chain to figure it out. They said it was likely a scam. Nothing ever went on the credit report either. This is a bogus way to scare people into giving money. They need to get a real job and stop stealing from people.

Voicemail from a Monica Jones of the "Legal Dept." saying she's a process server trying to serve....my dad...about a case next week. My dad has been dead for 11years. I called back and they lady who answered was very rude. Said without a case number she can't help me. Very angry they're using my dead father to try and scam me.

I called this number back after I blocked my cell number. The woman answering repeatedly said that the business name was called "Legal Offices" when I asked her the name of the business. I told her I was a scam victim and that this sounded like a scam. Also, that I have a detective working on my case and I'll just leave this information with him. Another woman had left me a voicemail with a case #, and had also called my brother's cellphone prior to calling me stating my name in his voicemail. She mentioned something about a certified package was going to be mailed out to me the next day. I am sure if this isn't legit - it is just an UPGRADE on the Nigerian 419 check / money transfer scams.
