called and hung up tried calling back and can not wouldn't let me

SCAM!! I keep getting calls from these numbers. They say they are from a loan grant department in D.C. bit I spoke with one of my advisors at my collage and it is a scam!! Do not give them your information.

They called me and said they are from Government, wants money..all false

Rec'd a call from this number.. asked for my husband, I pretended to be him, caller said.. "F#$% you B!@#$" and hung up.

Left no message -tried to call back (I put in *67 before the phone number (*67 202-181-0921, so my call to them only says "Unknown Caller")--That number was not working or it goes to what sounds like fax line. Blocking the number.

They called me and said i was getting 7,000 from the government. And they would send it to me western union. But theu needed all my information so i would be able to pick it up. Not any body who know about western union u only need the number super scam.

Called me said I was getting 7000 then proceeded to say all quiifacations I told them I have criminal record and then he proceeded to tell me he was with the FBI and that they where coming to get me in 2 and a half hours I hunv up on them

Called me speaking in some half a$$ broken English telling me I owe them 7k for school loan grants and if I did not pay them I would be prosecuted at the fullest extent then when I asked them not to call back [***] had nerve to say will call me every night every day untill I die. B.s scammer

I just received a call from this number and the representative sounded like Apu from the television show "The Simpson's" and he proceeded to tell me he was with the government and that my name was chosen to receive $7,000 in grant money from the government and he asked what I thought of that. I told him I thought nothing of it because it sounded like a scam. I spoke clearly and he couldn't understand me so I repeated myself and he tells me that if I think it is a scam that he can no longer help me and asked if I want him to clear my file and I proceeded to hang up on him. I hate when people try to get one over on me, after reading all the comments on here I am glad that I went with my gut feeling.
