was called by # 2144141037 and told i was going to receive a $ 6000 grant and to call # 202 697 9248 and speak to a Millory White, its a scam
I received a phone call from this company using this number they were offering me $6,700 if I pay the taxes of $250. After researching the number I see that now its a scam and would like for someone to do something about this because it makes no sense. To trick someone out of their hard earned money is a crime and against the law. Expecially since they posed as United States government offering me a US Grant.
I got a call from an unknown number saying the same thing. Gave me 202 697 9248 to call back to get the grant. And ask for Millory White also. The weird thing is, the guy "Robert" knew my home address...
Received a call from CiCi John 202-697-9248 stated they will give me $6700 if I were to send them $250. Like really..Why would I send the government money in order for them to "send me a grant". A Grant is supposed to be free money not money given to them to give to you. URGH! ITS A SCAM!!!!!
Unknown number called my cell phone 4 times in less than an hour while I was at work. Finally answered only to have the woman tell me that I qualified for a government grant of $6700. she then gave me a phone number to call back to speak to her account supervisor. Already thinking it was a scam, I looked up the phone number (202-697-9248) and found this page. I never did call the number but am glad that I didn't. THE US GOVERNMENT DOES NOT GIVE YOU SOMETHING FOR NOTHING BY CALLING YOU!!!!!
yep, called called me 4 times today with unknown caller on caller i.d., same exact deal, said I was eligible to receive $6700.00 as a government grant. they knew my address as well. Told me call Mallory White at 202-697-9248 giver her an ID number DJ 202. I nhave never applied for a grant and since there is no free lunch, this is indeed a scam!
