They called from 203-540-9900 left a message with a different number to contact. I it was the bank I deal with and the number is nothing like this one that shows on the caller ID 203-540-9900.
Got a voice mail from this number it was a reminder of a appointment at Masonicare. Got it 11:39 PM how dumb.
I got a Voice Mail, from 203-540-9900 and it was for a reminder of a doctors appointment at 11:30 PM. In June I got a Voice Mail from the same number but it was from Webster Bank and a message was left to call them regarding a survey I took but they left a different phone number to call in the VM. I think the companies are not calling our cell but leaving Voice Mails from a company that provides this kind of service. This stinks.
It seems that every time I get a message left on my cellphone, there's a second phone number as well - 203-540-9900. As others have stated, it is AT&T's Voicemail system (AT&T is my cell carrier).I decided to call this number from a landline phone, and the recording asked for a 10-digit phone number. I keyed in a phone number other than my cell number, and heard something like: "It couldn't be found. Please try again," It was only after I keyed in my cell number that I got my own outgoing voicemail message.Why 203-540-9900 shows up on my messages is beyond me, and I wonder what would happen if one "rejected" it . . .
Claimed I was in trouble with the law and if I did not call them back "additional" charges would be filed against me.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
