Just because caller ID says "Dana Fowler" does not mean the call is coming from this person. Scammers (many from overseas) spoof telephone numbers in order to pique your interest and hope you will fall for it. In this case it seems they want you to think your computer is faulty and they will "fix" it. The best you can do is report it to FCC, FTC, and DoNotCall list (for what it's worth).

Called twice in 15 min. No message left after the first attempt, after which I looked the # up on here and added the # to the Block List. 2nd call came in as I was reading the posts.Windows Scam Spoofed # du jour, from the looks of the posts.

Called at 7:30am this morning. I have them blocked but they still insist on calling. IDIOT

Has called 9 times in the past 2 days - there is no message left and if I pick it up to tell them they're calling an unlisted, do not call # I get the hang up buzz. Today I called it back and got the Verizon message - I HATE THESE INVASIONS INTO MY HOME AND PRIVACY!

We've been getting calls daily from "Dana Fowler," so . . . I answered the phone with "Diaper Wild Feet!" That seemed to flummox "Dana" who sounded a lot like an gentleman of Indian heritage. He just stuttered a bit and hung up fast. I recommend answering with "Diaper Wild Feet!"

Received call saying my computer was sending error messages. I'm a software developer so I know my laptop is not sending these "errors". Told the guy to die and stop calling. He argued with me so I told him that customer 101 is to never argue with a customer so that proves he is trying to scam me. He continued to argue and said he would call back. With his foreign accent he must be a terrorist with ISIS! I guess our government must be sleeping with these [***] since they refuse to do anything to stop this crap.

Just got a call from this #. They claimed to be from the Windows company. I insisted that they remove me from their database or I will sue them. They hung up immediately, we will see if they call back.

Received the call this a.m.....hung up. For landline phones (yes, I still have one), dial *60 and then follow instructions to block. If I do not recognize names, I just don't usually answer....that will teach me.

Call from 205-863-9569 2 sometimes 4 a day, no one there or there is a noise from a call center with people in the background chanting or singing. very annoyingWhy can't our govt stop this kind of harrassment
