Same Angela. Same request for lessons off of Craigslist. It was received very early in the morning (7 am), which is odd. The language was broken and misspelled. I did a check on the phone number, and saw this website. Will not be responding. Thanks.
Angela Kelvin got my name from craigslist for Math tutoring. She told me she was deaf, and she wanted tutoring for her son William for Algebra 1. She also wanted me to calculate how much I would charge her montly. I told her that I do not want to get paid monthly but after each tutoring session. So far she did not text me back.
I just got a text from her about teaching guitar lessons from an ad I posted on craigslist. Same thing as you guys. She has a 15 year old son looking for guitar lessons. She was very pushy about having her son do 2 one hour lessons per week, which as we know is too much for a beginning guitar player. Anyway, once she asked for my address and full name I knew something was weird. That's when I found this by searching her number. Be careful out there guys.
got same text from her. she said her name is Angela and request music lessons which I posted on cragglist. I just deleted texts and add her number in spam after I received her text, and looked up the number. its so Glad I found the number in here.2097147077 do not waste your time and run away !
I received the text message late on Friday evening. Angela Kelvin wanted to have lessons for his 15-year son William, twice per week in my location. Asked me to give the price for one-month teaching. Mentioned that they are located close to my location. Scam! Thanks for the previous comments.
She ask for spanish lessons twice a week for her son william her name is angela kelvin and she want to pay a month in advance. Be carfull sounds like scam to me.
Yup, posted a tutoring ad on Craigslist and got a fairly in-depth fake response from this number and one other. Unfortunately I deleted the texts from the other number.
Got texts from "Angela Kelvin" about clarinet lessons for her 15 year old son (I had posted on craigslist). I asked her to call me and she said she was deaf. Asked her to add me on facebook and she said she didn't have an account. She INSISTED that I give her my full name and address so she could send me a check in advance to secure the lessons for her child. I told her that was not necessary, she could pay me at the first lesson and then she stopped replying. Total scam.
