They call about twice a day. Caller ID says unknown. If I see unknown or unavailable, I do not answer. If important they will leave message. I too was told to not answer or call back. They are looking for people eho will respond in some way. Then you remain on a call list to keep calling.
they called me twice today the second time I was near my phone and I just picked it up and slammed it down right and there face ,but knowing these jerks they won't get the message otherwise i just dont answer my phone unless I know who is calling oh ya it did say wireless caller also brainless caller
Robo call recording offering since I'm such a great customer, 2 free nights, free all you can eat, etc.
got a call from the above number and I don't recognize it. Received on 9/24 at 5:21pm
Robo call Spam, You've just won a Cruse,,, Right and the pope is Jewish!
Very Possible. If a telemarketer (robo call) and you block the number they will continue to call using a list of telephone numbers which happened to me 20 times since July 4, 2015; my robo calls were from the 510 862xxxx number and I blocked and deleted each call and I would get the same call but with a different telephone number. So there is really no way to stop these telemarketers unless you can find out who is calling. I did do a reverse lookup and was able to find the carrier which was Verizon for some of the calls and AT&T for other numbers. I called AT&T and they took care of the problem by taking me off their marketing list to receive specials. Try calling Verizon to see if they will take your name and your Mom's name of their marketing list.
Blocking devices do not work for these types of calls as they are robo calls and usually if you block one number they will call on a different number which usually have the same area code and prefix. I have had a problem with robo calls (telemarketing) since July 4, 2015 and I'm on a do not call list. I have had 20 different calls from 510862xxxx. Because they are automated calls they Do Not Call List can't do anything. These Telemarketers have access to numerous telephone lines and lists.
Sales call even though I'm on DO NOT CALL list.
Caller left no message around 10 am and the CID said "Wireless Caller". A reverse trace was blocked, no surprise there. The call originated from the Los Angeles, CA area using the service provider of CELLCO Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless-CA. Reading some of the other complaints has proven this caller is busy calling a lot of people. And anyone who hides their identity and location while soliciting is a scammer. Block this number and report it. Nothing gets done if there is no record of the type of usage of a number.
