I just received a call from this number as well. These robo calls are unstoppable and ridiculous. I reported the number but I'm sure it's useless.
another robocall from 219-654-8687 caller ID said "WIRELESS CALLER" Tuesday 12-3014 @ 349PMmales voice on message "Hello senior...you have been selected to receive a free medical alert system................referred by friend or family member.............free $3000 in valuable grocery savings coupons plus a 75 dollar prescription card.............press 1....."again pressed 1 right away and received the following message ="I'm sorry that's not a valid extension. please try again."
Make these people stop calling. I don't want their product and there is no way for me to tell them to stop.
repeated calls, no message left. I am on Do Not Call list. how to stop this from happening short of changing my #.
Just received another call from 219-654-8687. Says Hello Seniors something about an alert system and free groceries. Clicked one thinking I could get a person to tell them to remove my number but only got disconnected after "waiting for next operator". These calls have to stop! What is the purpose of being on two Do Not Call lists when you keep getting calls. Annoying to say the least.
If I don't recognize the area code or the number itself, I won't answer. I put these goofballs on my reject list in my phone. That reject list is getting longer and longer.
got calls from this place a number of time for different scams .I picked up a call blocker because of places like this.I have had it for 4 weeks now and have 71 blocked calls .there are so many loop holes in the do not call laws it's not funny .the 1st is they are not trying to sell you any thing they are informing you now .2nd is if you call a number back you have given them the right by law to call you again .the fact that many of the places calling you are scammers they don't care about laws .when you press a number to be removed from a call list this too has many hoop holes in it .after 90 days your put back on lists . it's not a for ever thing !because places like this buy and sell your number this too puts you back on call lists .if they do put you on a list the list is only them calling you from that number . businesses like this have many phone lines and numbers to call you from .many places will get your info from places like google and bing using google , bing and others for their call list.if you own or owned a business and your listed on the web your going to get calls .you put your number their you gave permission by doing so .
One more time - spoofed numbers (what shows up on your Caller ID devices) are not the actual numbers where calls like this really originate from. The Do Not Call list can only be used (complaints filed and acted upon) when you have a REAL number that they can do something with. The scammers are counting on the masking of their identities. YOU have to do something for yourself to help stop them. First off I'd suggest a call blocker box - press the "blacklist" button or program in an area code or unidentified callers or whatever - problem solved. The other option is to make yourself heard by your service provider. Just got another call from these idiots, AT&T automatically got a report (I complained my skull off and my line is being monitored) and my call blocker automatically cut them off after a preset number of rings (to give AT&T sufficient time to do their thing). Problem solved.
