Just received a call from Mr. Norman and he stated everything everyone on this board posted. Maybe I'll have a little fun with him and tell him he needs to call and talk with my sales manager and give him a porn number to call. Ha ha! No samples from my company MR. NORMAN!
Yea, just got "THE CALL". He provided so much info that I couldn't believe that I would have not remembered a prior contact. I would suggest that anyone contacted by him should send, right away!, a sample pack of their neighborhoods finest dog crap!!
Just got a vm from Mike...He was 'returning' my call about our products. Funny thing is, I haven't talked to the guy in at least a year which was when I told him to [***] off and that I know he just scams people for samples. He won't quit. Just have fun with him. I am going to call back and tell him I will overnight samples. Can't wait for the 'where are the samples?' call.
I got a call from Michael with the same story. He saw my ad in April's Gourmet News. He is a distributor , connected with 350 mom and pop stores and food service. He provided his email address and the same phone number mentioned above. I haven't sent anything and I have not spoken to him. I am glad I saw this before moving forward in any business venture.
Google maps shows his address 16905 W. Twelve Mile Rd. as a very small detached garage on a residential lot. Looks a bit like an oversized dog house to me. Find it hard to believe this biz is legit.
I just found out about this guy but not until I sent him a sample apron. Oh well you live and learn> But what I am planning on doing is call the Southfield Police Department's fraud unit tomorrow morning and file a complaint. This guy has to be stopped! I have received the very same requests from Michael Norman as those posted here. Thankfully I found this site when I searched Google and we've sent him nothing. He just called again today. I am not sending him anything but someone should send him a big bag of poop.
He's called our business a few times. This time he is looking for samples and it would be nice to know if anyone has done business with him or if he really is legit?
