Oh no! I was at least happy that I could laugh at how stupid he is for never changing any of his contact info. That's a shame that he finally caught on..Detroit Distribution - Michael Norman - FAKE!! SCAMMER!! DOUCHE!!

I find it really creepy that Michael Norman requests things from so many different industries.. We make gourmet food so what is he doing with all of this stuff? Food, Books, Art, dozens of flyers and sell sheets.. It's really weird. For anyone just finding this thread - don't send anything to Michael Norman of Detroit Distribution! He's a scam artist! (not a very good one if this many people found out, but that won't stop him from trying!)

I am ridiculously annoyed as well. He has been calling every few months for years now, and he just called again this morning. I reported him to the Federal Trade Commission but since he probably doesn't even have any kind of business license, I'm not sure they'll be able to do anything about it. Stupid scammer.

This is so frustrating. Michael norman is rude AND fake. He gets belligerent and rude to catch you off guard and make you feel like you've done something wrong so that you send him more samples right away. He has been calling for YEARS and every single time he says that we spoke about sending him samples and he gives his information for you to send them. But then he disappears, never answers when you call him back, and I have sent him an email telling him that we know he's fake and he's too stupid to stop calling. Michael, if you ever read this, I want you to know that one day you will call the wrong person with the wrong connections, and I can guarantee that you will not be as hard to find as you think you are.

I just talked to him the a few weeks ago. The whole story sounded fishy as hell. He said that he distributes to 300 mom n pops and he had talked to me 3 months ago but he never got the samples I'd promised. I checked my emails / files and I have nothing on Detroit Dist. So, I googled them and came across this. I called him back and played dumb saying I lost the list of samples he'd requested. FINALLY he calls me back with a completely different story (I guess he forgot about my voicemail and was calling to scam me again) about how he knew of me and my company. I had fun messing with him. Then I told him I googled Detroit Distribution and he FREAKED OUT! Went off on me how anyone can write anything they want about anyone and that he's been doing this for 38 years and could give me 35 references at anytime. Anyways, I'm sure the [***] will call back again and I'll have fun with it again. Don't send the guy a thing

Received a call from our friend, Michael today. He was a first time caller for me, saw my ad in BevNet magazine. He gave me the same numbers 248-809-3617 called from. 248-806-3450 callback. Michael.dd0228@gmail.com.I will have fun today.

I have received several calls from him also, was just getting ready to send some samples and my Admin. person just happened to google him WOW .....I saved myself some money a BIG thanks to everyone who posts!
