We have never been to this hospital as a patient. Not EVER!

Considering I don't get out my cell number I find it hard to believe that a debt collector would have it. In fact, I can name how many folks have my cell number on 10 fingers and still have multiple fingers remaining.

I've had the same thing happen. We played runaround on the phone. I refuse to give my SSN to anyone unless I know who they are. I will have them hold if they will and look up the number online. It's a very bad way to conduct business as neither party can give out any information.Like someone said above too, they hound you to collect a minor amount. I've been sick for years and paid out thousands in co-pays, but the deductible can be in the thousands for just one MRI or CT Scan if you haven't met your deductible.I'm now out of work waiting on SS and my mortgage is in forbearance. I get $300/mo. to live on and they try their best to get me to agree to $25/mo. They already overcharge and price gouge people who are sick but will treat illegal aliens for free. Obama was no help either because he caused my health insurance to increase from $310/mo. with dental, $25 copay and $1500 deductible to $429 with no dental anymore, $35 copay and $6500 deductible. And I was barely making ends meet. So now I'm on a medical card since I can't work anymore, which is where I think he wants everyone. Now they can't bill me a penny.But because I'm on the medical card, I got a letter from CAMC that I was eligible for financial aid and the remaining balance was being written off. About 4 months later I get the call from Healthcare Financial. They can't even communicate with each other.

Nunya sounds a tad toof dramatic that it's my guess they're looking to stir people up or they have a hospital bill they can't pay themselves because of high medical costs.Not only are medical costs high, so is health insurance. And hospitals often overcharge and the bills are loaded with medical codes people can't read so you don't know you were overcharged. They will also force additional costs. They put wrong codes down and insurance won't pay cause the code used isn't covered in the plan. They also give unnecessary medicine. I went in once with a vascular headache. I'd thrown up 6 times in perhaps 30 min. They said "drink this". I said I'll throw up, I was even unable to take in water. But they said I had to before they could do anything else. It probably stayed down 1 whole minute. Then they gave me the same type of medicine in a shot. And yup...they charged for both.

Got a call asked if I was Anita May - I said yes. Then she asked for either my DOB or address. When I told her I needed to know who she was before I gave any such information, she said she needed to verify who I was before she could tell me why she was calling. Well she called me so I told her I was not giving any information without knowing who I was giving it to and hung up.

Healthcare Financial. Very polite and courteous. Was attempting to collect on an overdue bill that had slipped thru the cracks.

A foreign woman called and asked for me. When I told her it was me she wanted me to verify dob and address. I dont give out info. Ur are collecting from me then you should already have that info. Didnt identify herself.
