Some idiot called just to hang up on the answering machine.

Since there isn't any real way to tell if this is a real research company, and in these days of liars and frauds calling every day, why would anyone want to respond to this kind of phone call. I don't know who these people are, if they are a valid research company, and if the callers are actually who they say they are. Perhaps they are, perhaps not. Of course, it is your decision to make. Area code 405 is in Oklahoma, as is the 600 prefix. The Wilson Research Group is in El Dorado Hills, California, area code 530. The phone number on their website doesn't match the number shown on my phone display.

Called and hung up. - Blocked.

The wilsonresearch.com website linked above is not the same company. I called their contact number. Friendly guy says his company doesn't do political phone calls. He gets called several times a day by people complaining about this [***] robocaller.

Telephone survey

Caller ID said "Wilson Research". I don't give any information to people I don't know...especially "researchers". They didn't bother to leave a message.

Hung up as soon as the answering machine picked up.

Answered call & it was a national survey asking about my approval of the president and the job he is doing... Also asked about the Senate & House of Reps. I don’t mind doing political surveys especially these days we live in. I don’t mind giving my opinion. It was a recorded survey asking to press #’s 1-4A National Feedback Survey

They are only Slightly higher up the bottom-feeder pond scum ladder than the harassing TeleMarketing Call Centers (TMCC) that try to scam us out of our money for bogus products and/or fake donations. IF you Do decide to answer their call, ... and IF you decide to take their survey, ... you CAN also decide to give them a bunch of BOGUS, misleading information to pollute their research findings. AND, if EVERYone who takes their surveys did this, these "telephone research" groups would become a liability rather than an asset to other businesses, ... and WE wouldn't be harassed by these research survey phone calls anymore.

TMac215 was doing just what this site is looking for. THANK YOU TMac215. They gave us all more information on this caller so We can decide how we want to handle this caller when they call us back again. I do agree that the "surveys", especially the political ones, are usually manipulated to the employers favor, BUT TMac215 should Not be chastised for trying to shed more light on this caller. People who criticize without trying to improve the situation are usually Trolls, just looking for attention. I truly hope you do Not fall into that category. We are all in this fight against harassing, scamming, and crooked telephone callers ... together. We need to work Together to do it.
