I rec'd 2 calls on 3/3/08 and 2 calls on 3/5/08 from the 444-444-4444...like others, no one on the line - I tracked the number as far as I could and from what I read, it's a land line number from Pasaic, NJ...
i got call from that 444 # too. but i did not answer. they are just wasting my time.
received a call from 222-333-4444; kind of weirded me out, so I googled it and found this website; I wonder what kind of scam this is; no one said anything when I answered. I hate this kind of crap; if someone wants to try and mess with me, then they should show up at my residence; I'll settle this kind of crap in person
I received this call from 1-444-444-4444 on 3-5-08 and have received 17 calls from other telemarketers etc...since that date. I don't want to answer the phone anymore for anyone....it is beyond ridiculous at this point. There is one that is called "Georgia Vietnam" that calls from 4 different numbers. I don't believe there is an answer for this problem. I am on the national do not call list also.......alot of good it does.
I have gotten several calls now from a number "222". That's it. I never have answered, but a voicemail is always left and music either begins immediately or I hear several people talking and then the music comes on. I was SOOO glad to see that this has happened to more people than just me because it freaked me out.
I received the 444-444-4444 message today, but it was a service appointment reminder from my auto dealership in central FL and they left a '888' number to call if I needed to change my appointment. I do have an appt for Saturday, just as the message said, so I don't need to call back.
I havent gotten a call from this number, but i just got back from a cruise and when i was in florida, this number was on many taxi cabs. The area code was (305), which is a florida area code.

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
There are 2 other numbers that are from this same number - 1-800-457-4708 and
1-302-927-3338.
They say they are calling for Clear Springs RX and has family name has health record.
