This is an all out Social Security phishing scam. I have received several calls from them. I answered the first and a guy with what appeared to be an Indian accent was telling me that my SS# was flagged for criminal and fraudulent activity and that I was subject to a warrant for my arrest. I asked him who he was with and he said the "social security department of Texas" which as a retiree and native Texan I know does not exist. I asked him what kind of fraud I'm supposed to have done and he said I would have to give him my SS# so he could check.... I then told him that I don't give that information to people calling me on the phone and hung up. Since then I have gotten repeated voicemails, sometimes several in one day, telling me that I have a warrant for my arrest, all originating from different numbers from a 469 or 682 area code. These have a computer generated female voice. I have reported these calls to the real Social Security Administration who verify it's a scam and to not take the calls. I'm just concerned that a vulnerable retiree like myself will fall for this thing and get ripped off. Thank you for having this to get the word out on these people.

Caller claimed to be calling from the Social Security Administration. There's no way to know if the cold was legitimate, so I shut him down.

This is a legit number for Social Security, but the bad guys can spoof it.

Caller was a submissive, about reaching SSI benefit and inform me that all via cell interviews were unavailable at this moment, try calling in 2-3 days. There's numerous reports here stating this is a fraudulent caller .(Is that why I was lied to about unable to receive an interview & call back in 2-3 days??..

Don't know who it is. Really don't care. Not going to call back. Probably some scam.
