Received multiple calls from them even though I live in California! Looked for a solution and found the app YouMail. They block these telemarketing numbers + play the number disconnected greeting for them + prevent them from leaving you a voice mail! I get less calls from survey groups and telemarketers now because they think my phone is disconnected!

Anonemp, you're full of it. This is a spam call operation. We get daily calls from "MDC Research" at this number and as soon as I answer, it hangs up. Hide behind "we're a legitimate research company" all you want: you're still spam calling people. To hear that this is happening even on the weekends is truly ridiculous. I don't think I've ever encountered a live person calling from this number; instead the automated answering system hangs up after less than three seconds, when it doesn't hear me say "hello." Even if you are legit... that isn't a good answering system. All signs point to fake.

I've gotten four calls on my cell phone from this number, asking for someone named Scott. My ex's name is Scott, but I got this number years after we broke up and he's never been reachable on it.

Called me at 1235pm central time on a Sunday...

They called 3 times in 3 days. I now have 3 voicemails of 5 seconds each without any spoken words on it.(sunday sept 14 at 3:59PM CST, monday sept 15 at 4:57PM CST, tuesday sept 16 at 5:39pm CST.)I tried calling the number back, it rings for 2 minutes straight before switching to a busy signal.

Called my number and when I answered the phone they hung up. This is the third or fourth time this has happened. If it is a legitimate call, they owe me the decency of speaking when I answer. This gives me the option to request that they not call again. If I get one more call I am contacting the FCC.

I received a call from this number at 9:21PM on 9/11/14. I did not answer. I think that is too late at night to be getting phone calls from anyone unless it is a family emergency. I am on the do not call list, and wish they would stop calling

Called my cell phone. I didn't answer as I already had the number in my (very large) scammer contact list.Certain surveys don't have to obey the national DNC list, but they still can't call cell phones.
