How do you answer the calls. What number do you press.

I just got the same automated call and when I heard Correctional Facility, I promptly hung up. It went into voice mail and some guy was yelling hey. I live in Canada so not even close. Its a scam fishing for victims.

I got a call from a prisoner pretending to be my girlfriend and the call cut before It said the number I could block it with. I am also 15 and have never had a girlfriend in or out of prison, so this is especially worrisome to me.

This number is associated with Elmwood Correctional Facility within the Santa Clara County Department of Corrections. If you're receiving a call from this number, you're likely receiving a phone call from an inmate who is trying to reach you via the ConnectNetwork system that allows inmates with calling accounts to dial out to their friends/family while they are incarcerated. If you miss their call, they cannot leave a message for you. Don't answer if you don't feel safe, but, as someone with an incarcerated family member, I'd like to clarify what exactly this number is. This person is person is constantly calling and looking for her dad and sister.

Got the recoding on my voicemail saying an inmate tried to collect call my cell. Not a chance! Yet another scam, and I suspect Ana is part of it.

Caller ID said "OFFENDER CALL." When I answered, an automated message came up saying "Your call has been rejected." I hung up after I heard that.

Keeps calling sounds like a young male in his 20s maybe ? Not quite to sure . But says is from Santa Clara County Jail keeps calling and trying to talk to me , have no clue who it is .
