Just got a call. It appears it is a scam using a 'spoof' telephone number. They could be calling from anywhere, and probably a foreign country. It is best not to answer such calls, and just block them if you have a telephone that can do that. There seems to be nothing our local telephone companies can or will do about these criminals.
