I no longer answer my land-line unless I recognize the calling party's number, I let my answering machinepick-up the incoming calls.My outgoing message to all calling parties is a continuous recording of the Jeopardy theme tune which Ifound on YouTube!!!
A gang called Organized Stalking makes a lot of odd calls. As I am a Canadian victim of organized stalking and got a call from 705 820 6969, it could suggest that others who get calls from this number are on OS's (organized staking's) watch list.
I get calls from them everyday sometimes twice a day, I garuntee that they are a bunch of idiotic scammers, appearentlyscamming for air miles!!!

Received a call at 10:34am PST. Only rang twice, so i didn't pick it up. It also called yesterday at 2:13PM.
Recorded female voice claiming to be Air Miles, and that you won x# of free Air Miles. Requests you press 1 to Claim them. Clearly a scam of some sort.
Just got this call as well at 3pm. I don't have voicemail at all so checked here. I guess its just spam. I've been getting more Apple ipad "win" spam texts too recently, I wonder if there is a connection.
