I tell them I wish to be taken off their list and I am on a do not call list, they just hang up and call as they please.
they claim to be from Social Security, with a "Social Security officer" willing to take my information because "someone in Texas is using your (my) social security number." 1) Social Security doesn't do that for people. 2) Social Security doesn't have "officers" that track down people. 3) Social Security has stated clearly that they will never call me without prior confirmation with me through the mail.
