Called several times this week. Visa something or other. I picked up the first call but said I was busy. ignoring them now.
Claiming to be calling from "Samtel Solutions" on behalf of RBC. Confirmed with RBC that they're fraud. Don't give them your information.
I called this number back, the auto message says Direct Insurance offering services on behalf of RBC.Searched the Direct Insurance on Yelp seen the bad reviews. Did not return call.
Caller asked for me by my first name and said he was from Famtel, 'contracted by RBC' (!????) to offer fraud protection at a cost of $12.79 per month.
Called me on a weekend morning by my first name. Said he was calling from First Report, contracted by RBC to offer ID protection services, lost card assistance etc. for 12.99 a month. Called again few days later. I blocked the number.
