p.s. we should all email Capital One(the only email I could find online, though it's for reporting phising to them since the word 'abuse" is in their email address by them constantly calling and not leaving messages is in itslef abuse...WELL TECHNICALLY IT IS)...here's the email for Capital One and tell them to smarten the f--- up! the same thing is happening to us, it is very frusterating as we need the line open for more important calls that we are waiting for. It is frusterating and when I finally called the number back it was just background noise of people taling but no one answered! It was like they just set the phone down and walked away!
they call my house about 6 or 7 times a day asking for Jenny Biniasis. Nobob by that name here!! The last straw came when they called on a Saturday morning @ 6am with a recording. I called their customer service line 3 times before I got results. The first 2 times they put me on hold for over 10 minutes each time. The 3rd time I called I told the guy that he had better not put me on hold and he better put me on the "DO NOT CALL" list. I told him that I wanted to speak directly to the dept that removes our names from their lists and he informed me that they do not take calls!! I said "Oh, I see, they call and harrass people but they won't take calls because they're cowards!!" I also told the guy that putting me on hold for over 10 minutes each time is very poor customer service!! If I left someone on hold at my job ... I wouldn't have a job ... they are just a bunch of cowards who hide behind their phones and call and harrass people. If I want their lousy credit card I will contact them. If you are having similar problems call this number 1-800-955-7070 and tell them , "Do not put me on hold, I want to be put on your DO NOT CALL list immediately".Hope this help!!

After reading a few more posts I tried calling the number that called me and I got a live person and told them also to remove me from their calling list. Hope this works!!

Better check your credit report. Someone may have applied for a card in your name without you knowing it. Gl
Received a call from this number. I let the answering machine pick-up the call and the caller left no message.
I have received a call from Capitol One Mastercard (1800-284-0755) and called them back.... I have been getting calls for quite some time for a card that my mom uses that hasn't been active for quite some time and she now lives at a different contact location!! I explained to the secretary on the other end of the phone, that today is in fact a Statutory holiday (REMEMBRANCE) and that it's a holiday and they shouldn't be bothering us!! Her response was we can not control the automated dialer!! THERE'S NEVER ANYONE ON THE OTHER END!!!!
