She started saying something about insurance and I said "we're not interested and do not take sales calls over the phone" and before I could go any further she said "I am not selling anything" and hung up on me.I called this # back and got a recording "the person I am trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time, please try your call again later."

The first call from this number came in on June 14th, 2008 at 11:28 am, and they hung up. The next call came in on the same date at 2:07 pm, and this time a young man asked for me by name, and I asked what the call was in reference to. He was quite rude and said he wanted to know if I was who he was looking for. I told him that I was and that someone from that number had called earlier that morning and he said this was the first time he had called, and he was calling from a cell phone with the area code 919. They have called several more times since then, and every time we answer the phone they hang up. The other dates are as follows:June 16th@12:13pm,June 16th@3:23pm, June 17@10:22am,June 17th@ 11:31 am,andJune 17th @ 12:23pmI have called this # back each time and got a recording "the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time, please try your call again later."

I got 2 more calls from them since I posted this. And I also found out they are calling the home line, so I will put in a complaint. It seems like they call more now that I said I wasn't interested!

called offering free estimate on health insurance. When declines, male caller call me an A**hole and hung up. Called number back, same as other: number not accepting calls.

This number has been on my caller ID at least 2X a day for several days.Thought at first it was a relatives #, but it is not. Yesterday a male voice called me by name and I asked "who is this" and he said what sounded like Cory and then hung up.

I have been getting these same calls several times a day now for the past four days. Monday June 16th, 2008, they called my home phone 6 times . Three times it was a woman asking for my now deceased mother who died two years ago. I explained that my mother was deceased, then they just acted as if my mother owed them a bunch of money and wanted to know how they could collect on the debt. I asked for more information about the debt because I know that my dad handled everything and mom never had any debt in her name. So I figured it's got to be some kind of identity theift going on. I hung up! A few moments later, I got another call from a man this time with the same exact dialog and I told them that my mother never had any debt and that I also had recorded every word spoken between both them and myself for my protection. They called me a liar and hung up on me.So, I called back, now I get this number is not receiving incoming calls at this time. So I did some checking around and found that it may be some kid playing with a cell phone or blackberry or even a computer and using a program called CIDSPOOFING and can be checked out at www.cidspoofing.com it is an interesting program that allows a user to call anywhere in the world and make obscene phonecalls without being traced back to the original source and giving false information like the phone number we all have 843-813-6780. First off the 843 is for the state of South Carolins area code, the 813 is an AT&T Phone number directory and the last four digits are the actual phone number, it appears that the final routing of this number is through AT&T that's why it is generated as shown on your caller ID. I have a lot of friends who work on computers such as I do, and we share information all the time. that's how I know about the CIDSPOOFING. I have a crazy EX-wife that actually wants me dead, so when I first started getting these calls, I specifically took it personally as another of her pranks trying to draw me out into the open where she can take her best shot at me. I called AT&T and I was told that no one has that number. I paid for a reverse lookup that came up empty. Then I just Googled the number only to find this site. So this is my summation of what's actually going on. May I suggest that the next time you get a call with that number on it, answer the call, if there is someone on the other end tell them that there number was reported to the FBI then slowly hit the # button on your phone, it will make a clicking sound on the other end and you will hear a tone on your end this will make the caller believe that the FBI has picked up the phone and listening in, thus making them hang up and never try your number again. It's just a kids game and you have to play it smart to scare them. But just in case it is my crazy ex wife, her name is Annette Kay Wright, McLeod or whatever last name she may be using to hide herself, and her oldest son's name is Michael David Wright, the youngest son's name is Kevin McLeod, so if you happen to know these same people, then there you go, we do have a connection!

Hello, if this caller said they were calling from a 919 area code then that's Florida I think. But it is a posibility this person has a track pnone bought at one of those convienent stores where you don't actually have to give your name just pay the bill or add minutes to the phone making it impossible to track down and partly because it is wireless. Take a look at my post and it could be that answer as well. No-one knows for sure what the deal is but it obviously sounds like either a kid playing with the phone or some crazy woman like the one discribed in my post! Take a look you may know her and probably pissed her off at one point or another so now she's out for revenge!

I believe that if it's the same woman described in my post, she already does have them!
