received a call with voice message saying to call this number (844-540-8025) regarding recent Chase card activity. I called the Chase main 800 and also Chase Fraud dept. Both indicated this is not a legitimate number for Chase. They also said any legitimate calls made from Chase would also be notated in the file.

Called my cell and husbands several times for an inquiry that was never made. I was never contacted by email., which was suspicious. I called back and voiive essages box was full. That did not make sense to me. Called true Chase number and reported spam calls Caller claimef to be Percy Mrnez or similar name. I also received letter. In mail with receipt records from a dryer I bought, which really confused me.

Received a call from Savish regarding recent inquiry. Also, had to play back multiple times to understand due to accent. Interestingly account is not tied to telephone number he called but actually another number. He requested call be returned to 1-844-540-8025 x 6581112. Quite a long extension number and also to call between 1-10 PM EST M-F. His incoming call came at 4:31 PM PST.

I just got off the phone with Chase and I don't know what the people who are claiming this isn't a Chase number are trying to pull but, this is a number to their dispute department. I called the number on my card and they transferred me to the dispute department who confirmed they did call me and left that number for a return call. Not sure why they called about a dispute that was settled over a month ago but, they did. Do yes, this IS a valid Chase number.

Yesterday I received a letter from JPMorgan Chase referring to an old check they issued several years ago (point redemption award) that was not cashed. I had to follow the instructions mentioned in the letter, and then mail or fax a filled form back to Chase to retrieve the money. I called the number on my credit card to verify the number mentioned in the letter. It took them half an hour (!) to confirm the letter was indeed sent to me, they alos confirmed the old check was issued but never cashed by me (correct date, correct amount etc), Finally, they confirmed I need to call the number 844-618--0991 that appears in the letter in case of questions etc. I was very skeptical after reading many reviews here that were claiming "SCAM" for this number. THIS IS NOT SCAM. It is in fact an internal Chase number (Chase reconciliation number) confirmed TWICE by the Chase representatives. Also, just by reading the reviews, THIS NUMBER EXISTS FOR A LONG TIME TO BE A SCAM. You can always call Chase 800 number on your card to confirm the number is in fact Chase number.
