I got the same message that I should call back about my Chase Credit Card inquiry. I called the regular phone number and was told that this phone: 1-844-540-8025 is not part of Chase phone numbers and I should not discuss any of my information with them.

I was called by someone who identified himself as a representative of Chase. I have an ongoing credit card dispute, so assumed the call was related to the dispute. I was given the option to have my phone number removed from the do-not-call list by giving them my phone number (which is the number they called to leave me a message). I suppose now I'll be inundated with even more unwanted calls.

I received a call from a lady (poor english) claiming to be from Chase Card Services and asking me to call back about an dispute on my credit card. I called back and got the voicemail of someone else (not the lady who left me the message). I hung up without leaving a message. I then called into the number on my chase card asking if there was a dispute on my card, or if they had called me, to which they had done neither. They told me the number 1/-844-540-8025 was not affiliated with them.

I received this call today, I called the number, I am disputing a charge, so felt like it was legit, mainly after reading these comments. What I didn't like was, she immediately asked me for my SS#, nope, then what is your date of birth, nope - I said why don't you read off my credit card number, (so that I know it's Chase). she said give me your phone number, which I already had just given her, i'll call you at this number then I won;t have to ask the verification questions. She called back and it was legit, but horrible way of conducting business to ask someone;s SS# when they called me. The woman sounded like she was in India also.

Just received call from woman w/ middle eastern accent. Spoke VERY fast .. had to play message 9 times to get all the info. Said she was from Chase and was calling about an ongoing dispute. I called Chase and they said it was not them nor was it a number affiliated with them!! She gave her number as 844/540-8025, x 657130. If you get a similar call that is questionable .. NEVER call them back. Call your credit card company and let them know!!!

Had the same experience as Lisa above. I then called the verified real Chase # from the back of my card and Chase verified that I have no issues on my accounts. They said this number was not in their system. In my experience. Chase does not call about disputes they send follow up letters for info. So my money is on scammer. Call and play along without giving real info, gather as much info as you can, and report them.

I just got a call from a girl that said her name was Lee Ann. She had a very strong Indian accent and said she was from Chase. I do have a case at the moment regarding a fraudulent charge; however, I called Chase previously and they said that they would not approach me like that. So I don't know whether to talk to them or not. I know I don't like talking to people that have real strong Indian accents.

Received a call from 800-935-9935, which is in fact a Chase number, but I think they're masking the number somehow. They left a voice mail claiming they're from Chase Card services, calling about a recent inquiry on my account. The number they gave on the voice mail was 844-540-8025, which is not associated with Chase.

Just got a call at office, she left this number for my boss to call back regarding an enquiry he made with Chase card services. I'm not falling for it. 1. he said he did not call them, 2. if it was a real fraud alert as others here say, they would tell me, Chase always does when it's a legit Chase person. 3. She barely spoke English.
