Same thing with Chase. Seems very shifty. I will notify Chase!

Call from 847-426-9209 to call back 844-540-8025 ext 658-1399 and they kept asking personal information. This is after calling the 800 Chase number on the back of my card and getting transferred to a couple departments one of which said that on behalf of all of Chase bank departments they had not reached out to me. I gave the number my name and telephone number unfortunately and when they asked for my card number I said no thanks and hung up.

i also received a message to the exact same extension (844-540-8025 x6571299) saying they were from chase calling about my inquiry (it is true that i have an open inquiry with chase), however they asked for my soc to verify the account, so i hung up

Wife received a call from "Steven" at the "Chase Account Center" regarding 2 fraudulent charges that the store responded as being "valid" charges. The phisher specifically asked for me by first and last name which they probably could have found in a phone book or the internet. Mistake #1 is that my wife confirmed my name and phone number. Mistake #2 is that she thought this was a valid call (doesn't everyone have a Chase card and had a fraudulent charge?). Mistake #3 is that she told the caller (who had a slight accent) the name of the company we had problems with and the number of charges. He now has quite a bit of information to make a convincing call if I were to return his call at (844) 540-8025 x6571193. She was told that this is a toll free number and that I should call between 8-5pm Eastern Time.I called Chase directly and they confirmed that this was not one of their phone numbers.

I got a call from 844 540 8025. i called Chase customer service on the back of the card and they connected me to the Disputes team. They said they did try to call me. Issue resolved. Legitimate number.

I got the same message from a woman with middle eastern accent!!! I kept re-playing the voice message to get what she said lol Rather I got a missed call from this number. Can't believe what would gonna happen if I pick up the phone.

I received a message at 8 a.m. from this number 1-844-540-8025 saying it was Kevin from Chase calling about a dispute on my bill. His English was poor and I have no dispute on my card. When I called back, it went to a general number, also suspicious and not part of the Chase numbers that I recognize, so I hung up,

Women with heavy accent said that she was calling concerning a recent inquiry on my Chase account. Said that if I get her Voicemail when I call back, to leave a message with my name, phone number, and best time to call. She used my formal first name which I never go by, and even my extension the "II", so it sounded very legit. What's interesting is I do have an outstanding inquiry with Chase, however, in the past it's always been handled with a formal letter in the mail advising of the resolution, not by a phone call. I'll classify this as a SCAM to phish for information. At the end of the day, your credit card company knows where to find you. Don't call this scammer back! (NO CALLER ID SHOWED)

I contacted Chase in response to a voicemail and they confirmed that it was about a bestbuy purchase I had made. The rep was very polite and helpful and helped me resolve the issue. Chase rocks.!!

I'm wondering if you found out more about this. Your post is confusing given that when you contact Chase, they say it's not them. Did it turn out to be legit?
