Got a call from "Melody D'Silva" with a very Pakistani sounding accent, but the caller id said "Chase Bank 8009359935".She would not talk to me but left a call back # for one of our officers as 1-844-540-8025 X6571150. When our guy looked the # up here & saw all the fraud warnings he had me call the Chase # on our cc. which I did. Customer service did show a call was made to my office this a.m., to tell me about a disputed charge we have. So in this case it appears to be a real Chase extension and function. However I am glad I called back to the real Customer Service # on cc.

FYI, this is, in fact, Chase. I was skeptical at first too. I called Chase using the number on my card and they verified it was them. The man I talked to said that when they call out, it shows up as unknown caller. They had refunded fraudulent charges and replaced my card month and a half ago and their security department was following up as part of their investigation. I noticed someone posted on here that they called Chase and an employee said it wasn't from them. They were wrong. Nice to end with good news! :)

Actually, it is Chase. They verified this when I called the number on my card. My caller sounded like yours and it came up unknown caller. I was skeptical too. I had reported fraudulent charges a month and a half ago and the call was from their security as part of a follow up. I still feel better calling back with a number that I know.

I got the SAME message! Same extension. I did not call back.

I too received similar call from 800 935 9935 wanting me to call back 1-844-540-8025 x6571159..I returned the call to 1-844-540-8025 and should have looked her 1st. Luckily I did find this post while on the phone with him. He couldn't find anything and kept putting me on hold. I told him that I had not made ANY inquiries and that I was not going to talk to him.
