It says in the bottom right hand corner "not affiliated with, sponsored by, and loan information not provided by" the mortgage company they reference in the body of the postcard. No need to respond.
Received a pink card..checked the number on line, saw it was a scam.....did not call
We closed a good while ago and another mortgage company has bought from original company, so I knew it was scam when we got the postcard.
Same experience as "Jo". Got postcard in mail today from Daytona Beach, FL re: "recently closed mortgage..need you to call about an important matter regarding this loan..." I will send it to the FL Attorney General for follow up with a request regarding their experience with this type of scamming in FL.
i got the card too and immediately knew it was a scam. this site just confirmed it.
First of all dialing *67 does not block your number when calling back toll free numbers and this is a toll free number. They now have your number. Whoever holds your mortgage is public knowledge and can usually can be found in tax records.
