I just got back from US bank and it was in fact legit (thank god). Only difference was it was because my personal account was getting a lot more transactions than I originally had expected (business been good this year lol) and it was actually flagging their system. I called and got too scared thinking it was a scam and hung up after talking to the dude for 2 mins. Drove directly to my branch assuming my identity was screwed and luckily the manager said it was real and she was literally going to call me too lol. I would still recommend going to your branch anyways if you get this, but if I had ignored this, they literally would've closed my account and I would've been screwed. Good luck and don't just call because you read this, GO TO YOUR BANK!

You're a liar, Josh. The letters and phone number are not US Bank. Give up on the scam and get a real job.

TOTAL SCAM, WILL CLAIM THEY ARE CLOSING ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS, ASK YOU TO CALL NUMBER AT THE BOTTOM OF LETTER AND IF YOU DO THEY HAVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. THE LETTER IS VERY CONVINCING. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER IT IS A SCAM, GO TO YOUR BRANCH INSTEAD. THEY WILL CONFIRM YOUR ACCOUNTS ARE FINE!

Received a letter from "US Bank" claiming they were going to close all of my accounts with this number on it. It is a SCAM do NOT CALL the number. Call or go to your branch!

This number called and said they were my bank and needed information

It's from US Bank outreach department. It is legit. I called US bank and confirmed that this is their number.

SCAM!! - Whoever posted below that said this is a legit number must be working with them! I called US Bank and they said this was phishing and transferred me to the fraud department. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!

Number came in a letter with USBank letterhead. Called USBank and this number does not display in their system and no notices or alerts on our accounts. The letter was addressed properly with last 4 numbers of our accounts.

I spoke to my local branch and confirmed that the letter was legitimate. It is unfortunate that USBank does not communicate that new departments have new toll free numbers.
