Been getting the medical alert calls now on daily basis for the last 18 months + . I think same robo call system is doing the "credit card services" ( also known as the Rachel calls) for many years. I'm working with the FTC to track down this center and have them prosecuted. But need people's help and reports in one place. I just started a page on Facebook to start logging on of this in a central location, Look up "NoRobo CallZ" and you can also email at "norobocallz@yahoo.com". Over the last couple of years, I have been able to narrow down to a single large system that is making BOTH of these robo-calls, which is illegal under federal law. They also spoof the telephone numbers, so do not rely on the telephone number that shows up on your caller ID..it's fake for sure. Also, if you want to, you can engage this "medical alert systems" one and just use a good credit card. Then after you order it and it posts, call your credit card company and tell them to cancel the charge, that this "sale" was made in violation of federal law. You can also keep the "medical alert system" as evidence to be used in court..its LEGAL and you take away their product making them lose money in the process! Fighting these people is the only way to make this finally stop. The systems I have been getting are from Lifewatch and I have personally spoken to them about it...but they claim they do not make "sales calls" and buy these "contracts" from "hundreds of vendors". Personally I think they are full of it! Even after I told them what is going on, they are only interested in geetting customers...no matter how they get them! In my personal opinion, after speaking directly with them about the issue, I believe them to be actvely a part of this huge ongoing problem!
Constant calls from this organization on different spoofed numbers. An older man calls and says the same thing.
A scammer from India called on this probably spoofed number. He asked for my credit card number and expiration date, so that he could make false charges on my card. When I gave him a fake number, he got angry and said, "fu-- you!" I reported him to the Do Not Call List. I don't recommend giving out info over the phone.
Indian call center asking for credit card info, in order to make unauthorized charges. I could hear lots of boiler room workers in the background.
