The ROBO voice sounded credible. The scammer has a Indian accent just like most of the computer scams and lotto scams. The IRS will never call you regarding such matters. It will be an official govermeant letter. I'm 74. I have had several of these calls.
Saying that U have committed a crime in the state of Texas and that my social has been stolen and that my social security will be suspended.
I received a call from this number today, 11/1/19. They left a voicemail that said the same as everyone here is reporting.
My little son came to me very worried with the phone in his hands telling me the FBI is calling to tell that one of us has made a criminal claim. This was a very disturbing call. I wonder how badly he would be worried if I wasn't here to look up the number on the internet.
