Someone keeps calling my cell number when answered there is only dead silence until I hang up. This number rings here at least once a day.

I receive constant calls from this number and nobody answers when i do answer the phone

888-289-8988 is the technical support number for BrightHouse Networks High Speed Online (ISP) I received 3 calls today.I am a current Cable TV BrightHouse customer. I am not a BrightHouse Networks High Speed Online customer. I was an Online customer a few months ago. Either way, I suspect this means they have an existing or former business relationship with me thus DNC list rules do not apply.

I am a Brighthouse customer, and after a couple of weeks of getting these hangup calls, I finally broke down and called Brighthouse to ask why. The CSR didn't have an answer but did escalate me to a supervisor. They promised to research it, but no ETA on an answer.

Same deal with me I always get calls from this number and no one answers and no voicemails. I talked to a CSR who said they would have to have a supervisor call me back as they had no idea why I was receiving these phone calls. I told them I do not want anymore phone calls from this # and to note that in my file and advise the supervisor of the same. I said if I got another phone call from them I would cancel my service and switch to Verizon.

I've had Bright house for 3+ years now and I've never had this problem... until now that is. This number will call me 3-6 times a day, sometimes twice in a row. Every time I answer I get hung up on. It's my guess that their phone system in on the fritz. I guess I'll just wait it out.

I also receive phone calls from this number on my cell phone...at least several times a week. I never answer it as I don't take calls from numbers I don't recognize. A Google search on the phone number brought up this website. I am also a BrightHouse customer so I guess I'll have to give them a call...although it doesn't sound like I'll get anywhere.

I've gotten this number occasionally on my caller ID at home. I have Brighthouse for cable. My guess is that they want to get me to get into some sort of package deal with them.

I just got the call for the first time. I am SO overdue on my payment cuz I'm an idiot and just overlooked it!! I am pretty sure that is why they are calling. So you guys might want to check if you were late on your bill.
