I dont have a suntrust account got the same calls and when I called suntrust customer service they did not recognize the number as being one of their own..so I'm gonna lean toward this being a scam...

It is the SunTrust fraud dept. The message indicated there was some fraudulent activity ony husband's debit card. But, I called the regular suntrust # on our card instead of the # left on our vm. ( My husband's card had stopped working.). Suntrust transferred me to the fraud dept. After I verified the charges suntrust took the hold off the card.

I just got this call, so I called the number on the back of my card to speak with Suntrust about it. The woman on the phone did not recognize this number. She said there was nothing wrong with my card. She told me this was a phishing attempt.

Ok, so my last post was wrong. This is a REAL fraud protection number. It's from Suntrust. Call the number on the back of ALL of your cards to double check. They saved me from getting my bank account depleted!

nobody in my family banks at SunTrust. . .this number calld 8 times on the 15th and 5 times so far today. . . my grandparents have had this phone number for 25 years.......nobody in the family has ever banked at SunTrust. .... i remain skeptical about calling this number back directly.....use caution...go through the main number at SunTrust....be careful!

This is a legit number and call, I had a charge on my account that I did not make via my sun trust card

Yes, It Is The SunTrust Fraud Department Attempting To Contact You With A Legitimate Concern Regarding Your Account or Card. I've Honestly Been Thankful That They Are So On Point!

This is a real fraud department from Sun Trust bank and my card was cancelled after I was told red flags had shown up. I was questioned about the supposed purchases and where I used the card. The culprit is a local store who did run my card through twice by purposely over charging me. Pay attention to your online statements and look for a suspicious SMALL amount showing up first.
