I use to work at PDM.I will say their is nothing they can make you do to pay.Some collectors even say okay well we will contact the proper authorites.That is against the law,and you should contact the Att General because they are in violation of the FDCPA.These people will make threats which is against the Law.They can't force you to pay,and the best course of action is to write them a letter asking them to leave you alone.By law they have no right to contact you if you send in a letter.People need to know their rights under the FDCPA within the Federal Trade Commision.They also can't call you before 8am or after 9pm,nor on Sunday or Holidays.But Sat is fair game lol.Understand a Debt Collector uses tonality in his or her voice.Their is no law against toneality under the FDCPA guidelines.So they can sound like a very big Auth figure if they want to.Also it's worth to note the collector never uses his or her real name.All collectors just about use aliases.You have nothing to worry about just mail them a letter,and tell them to stop calling you and mailing letters.By law it's the only way to stop a debt collector.Also rember PDM does not have Lawyers working on site,and they are not a Law Firm,so they can't sue you lmfao.You people were fooled by the foolers at PDM with their threats and tonality.LMFAO.If you feel threatened call a Lawyer,and most Lawyers do pro bono just to sue companys like these it's easy money.PDM is constanly in trouble,and always going to court over complaints.I'm amazed these people are still in Business lol.

THE OTHER DAY MY FRIEND GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER THEY STATED THEY WERE TRYING TO IN TOUCH WITH ME THEY LEFT A MESSAGE SAYING FOR ME OR MY ATTORNEY TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM ASAP HER NAME WAS MRS WRIGHT!!!

Your credit is already ruined if you made it to PDM.When I worked there we did payday loans and mini storage debts.I'm black by the way just in case you folks were wondering.I was a top collector for them,but I left to pursue another Debt Collection company.PDM are crooks,and you all must be weary of your rights under the FDCPA.These people break the rules,and I hope they go out of business soon from their unfair practices and scare tactics.Like I said if you feel threated just contact a Lawyer and have him or her advise you.I'm serious about this most people don't know they will also recive money after they win the case.Most Lawyers are pro bono,and it's also worth to note the person who broke the rules will also be fined $1000 by the FTC.

These people are rude and a joke. They are a collection agency, and try to intimidate you with threats to pay them. They started calling me about an account from almost nine years ago. I stated to them that the account had already been written off and taken off my credit report last year in 07'. Rick, who would not give me his last name, stated that they had purchased the account in 06' and I still had to pay it. I laghued at him. He got irritated and started yelling asking me if I liked where I lived at. He stated that he was going to put it as a delinquent account on my credit report and I would not be able to rent an appartment or buy a home for the next ten years. I laughed at him some more, and stated to him "Lucky that I already own a home then" and hung up on him.

My under aged son received a call from this number on his cell phone so it CAN'T be legitimate!..just some sales person calling randomly selected numbers!

Hi,Number showed up on my cell phone @ 2 PM today. Did not leave a message.

They called my elderly mother about a debt that my nephew "owed" to an apt. company. He says he doesn't owe it to my mom. She gives the collector his phone number to call him directly as he is an adult. She says please don't call me any more. They call her almost every day. They said to her that they can have him thrown in jail. She gets scared and gives them her personal debit card number. The amount was $95 and miraculously is now $500. She calls my nephew and thank God he answers the phone fast. She was able to cancel her debit card and get another and a stop payment. So now PDM has just committed fraud against the elderly. I blocked my number and called PDM. They said that my nephew must be guilty or why else would my mother have paid? HELLO! You just scared an elderly person into paying a bill that isn't theirs!! Not even a legitimate one or amount either! Of course they don't have my phone I blocked it. They don't have my name I didn't say it. I need to know who to report this to.I told my mom to tell my nephew to call his apt building to read the agreement to see what is really owed. If he owes to only pay the apt building directly the $95.NEVER pay a collection agency especially an evil one or one that asks you to break common sense rules. Never give them your mailing address to send you anything. Ask them to read you the address on file. If you can get them to give you the name of the company that you owe, ask for the phone and address to verify it for your records. Write it down. If you recognize it then work with the real company instead. Ask the company that you really owe to send you an invoice or lease and work with that. Some companies will be glad to hear from you directly and agree to settle without interest or collection fees. Companies that work with collection agencies seldom collect the full amount owed because the fees are subtracted out. You have to be nice, though, when doing this because the next step will be for the accounts receivable or the collections dept of that company to notify the collection agency that you paid the debt and to leave you alone. Remind them to do this. If you get a call from the collectors then call the supervisor of the AP clerk to get it done.Because you have now paid the company directly it is their burden to report to the collection agency to stop harassing you and that the debt is paid in full. The collection agency deal was made with the company you owed not you, therefore you don't have to give them anything. I don't know if this is true for all situations but it worked on a few for me. You can report a business for paying someone to still harass you after a debt is paid. Now the business and the collection agency can get in trouble. This also makes the horrible collection agencies get weeded out fast because they will loose their business with companies that hire them. I know because I have done accounts payable for 20 years. I started jobs that had residual messes like this to clean up. There are good collection agencies out there and usually they don't mind if you pay the original company owed directly instead of them.

I adv him to stop calling my house he adv that he was going to place the debt on my credit when I called today the rep and the supervisor was rude and adv they the have place the debt on my credit and 2 Saturdays ago I was threaten the it would so someone was lying..They adv that they go my info from the state. but i never rcvd anything from the towing company nor the collection agent.I called the towing company and the owner was out of town. i feel that what they are doing is against the law
