Got a call today 10/8/2021, it belongs to my Dentist office in the stop and shop plaza in Flemington, nj

Got our first hang up from this number on Thurs 5/21/2015 @ 4:47 PM then another on Sat 5/23/2015. Did a reverse look up and this number is for a lawyer Jennifer Hetrick, 56 Main St. in Flemington New Jersey. How reputable can this law office be if they are calling people and hanging up?

Lola, sometimes these number are "spoofed". It might not be the lawyer calling you, it could be someone from overseas even. I've got calls like this from a gym in Long Branch,NJ with a thick foreign accent on the other end threatening to arrest me. On the other hand, it could be the lawyer too.

Received a call from this # at 6:09 this evening. Caller ID was "Unknown Name" Message left on my voicemail was "Hello?" Caller ID is the best Jerry...the best. Never p/u for #'s you don't recognize.

Answered the phone from this phone number @ 7:45 pm on 6/4/15. Normally I do not answer the phone when I don't recognize the number as being a friend or family member, but every once in a while I like to have a little 'fun' with one of these dirt bag solicitors, etc.I said Hello 3 times and then finally a man's voice said Hello back to me. He addressed me as Ma'am and stated "Ma'am the purpose of this call is to assist the New Jersey Police Officer's Association with......."I LAUGHED at him and stated "They don't make phone calls to collect donations" and I hung up.I don't believe that local police departments solicit and make individual phone calls asking for donations.

He claimed his name was Joe Mackel and was calling from the New Jersey Police Officer's Association. This guy has called before and said it was something about the Veterans Association or something involving Police. I even told him he has called a few times before (recognized his voice) saying a different organization each time. He ALWAYS says this: "Are you SURE you are comfortable giving such and such amount of money?" I also told him that it was very obvious that he was reading and sounded like a recording. He didn't know what to do after I said I never fall for these kind of phone calls.

Too many calls from this person. Glad , I don't pick up if I don't know who it is. Really annoying the way they persist...

received a call on 6/5/2015 from 908-968-9168 asking for a donation for the the police benevolent assoc. Very aggressive insisting and alarming. This number should be reported. Anyone know to who?

If these people are supposedly soliciting for a charity or other donations, I don't think there is anything we can do about it. I just watch the caller ID and, if it is someone I know, I answer. Otherwise, if it is someone who really wants to contact me, they should leave a message on my answering machine. Yes, the frequent ringing of the phone is a pain in the posterior, but I think we're stuck with this sh . . . er . . . stuff.
