really hard to understand, bad recording and accent, but "federal Reserve" action i think is what they said. sounds like a scam
Definitely a scam. Received a call here in New Hampshire from a barely audible and inarticulate individual stating that the US treasury and the Federal Reserve were about to call me concerning illegal activity on my part and stated that I should co-operate with him to avoid trouble.
No Department in the US govt, especially the IRS, will call with such info. They will send you a letter. This call is a scam plain and simple.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
