When I called the number the answering machine identified the company as FedChex Recovery
Called me and said that book i rent last year from my collage is already due and i have to pay a fees for that book, also asked for the adress and attend me that they gonna send me a bill..
Identical situation with a rented textbook. Laura claimed she would send a letter to me, but I have yet to receive one four months later. They continue to call.
Left a message, but only said he was from FCR Collections. Started to give a callback number beginning with 1-800-879 but the call was disconnected.
They called me and said I never turned in a book that I rented from my college. I than immediately called the book store and told me it was a scam. Be careful, do not give your credit card number to them. They said I owed $270 and could play in halfs and if I didn't pay by the end of this month it would be sent to their attorneys office. Don't answer this number
