Get several calls a week and never a message left. I finally decided to call the number back and a automated message came on, instructing me to hold for the next available person. Absolutely no company identifier.
called 3 days in a row at 0800. no msg left & when I called # back it does not ring. I blocked caller!
They have done this to me several times a day as well. They ask for my husband and as a wife seeing warwick hotel come up on your caller ID it makes me very paranoid about cheating/etc.... I think that they are very trashy and worse that they play on the fears of married women being very cagey about why they are calling and the fact that it comes from a hotel number as well and they do nothing to clarify that issue leading you to believe that it is confidential and they cannot disclose anything without speaking to him first. Shame on them! I am disabled and feel low enough about myself to have them add this into the equation. I don't know how to stop them from doing it except to ignore the calls and know that it is a scam which is what I have chosen to do. I did not give them any identifying information or anything other than an ear full of my disgust towards them!
Calls a couple of times a day every day, even though it has been blocked for quite awhile. Obviously is a scam, and sounds like it is the "fake debt collection" type. It seems criminal, that nothing is being done to stop the avalanche of daily scam calls.
This number keeps calling although have had it blocked for quite a while. Obviously just another scam call, and don't know what they think they are going to accomplish by constantly trying to call. Sounds like it is another one of those sleezy fake debt collection scams ... used to get lots of those, before these bozos started calling (always asking for a different person).
Have had this number blocked for a few months, but they still attempt to call on an almost daily basis. Today the first attempted call came through at 8:03 am. Never have talked to these people, but seems usual for these type of callers to lie to you if you are polite, and to hang up on you if you tell them to NEVER call again.
Auto-transcribed message below, looks like debt collector robot:"Patricia PayPal. Press one. If you need to put this call on hold to get them press two. If I need to call back later press three. If this is the wrong number and you are not Patricia PayPal. Press four. If you would like your number permanently removed from our system press five. Hi this is Kelly Smith and I'm trying to reach Patricia PayPal. It is important that I get a hold of Patricia PayPal. If you are Patricia PayPal. Press one. If you need to put this call on hold to get them press two. If I need to call back later press three. If this is the wrong number and you are not richard(?)."
These are very bad people, and there is no way to stop the calls. Best guess is that they randomly call people, and pretend to be collecting on a debt (yeah right). Everything they say is lies.
I just received the same call and message except they asked for my dad, and he dont live with me.
Calls almost daily and has been blocked for a LONG time. Obvious scam, but haven't ever talked to these bozos . Have had a variety of scammers call pretending to be collecting upon some sort of fake debt. Figure that they must have called at least 50 times thus far, and figure that eventually they shall shift to using another number.
