very rude. don't answer

I get called from this number several times a week. When I first started getting calls from them, they would hang up immediately (most likely due to the fact that I answer with my company name). I have blocked the number but I still see on my phone records that they continue to attempt to call me.

They keep calling my fax machine but never send a fax.

Had called several times that I was not home but after checking out the # I blocked it from ringing through so it would go straight to my voicemail. I guess the person at the other end was shocked to immediately hear the recording to leave a nessage and because I could hear the woman asking someone what should she do & say when this happens. He told her just leave the message on her script - she then read a collection for some company not getting paid for painting the house. I had to laugh at that since we always buy our own paint and we paint our own home every few years and do touchups as needed in between. Been doing this since we moved in 25 years ago

Scam "bill collector"Called to collect for company that no longer exist in the capacity they used to. Said they were trying to collect a debt for a MBNA loan/financing account. MBNA has not functioned in that capacity since 2006. Also, I paid that account in full in 2000. Funny that the account being referenced is not reflected on any of my credit reports (all three agencies) since at least 2002.

This # calls several times daily since we moved & got a new phone number a few months ago. Only spoke to someone regarding a debt that is not ours and demanded to know our names, addresses, & last 4 of our SS#'s "in order to remove us from their list. When I refused to provide the caller with the info they said was necessary they got pissy and hung up. So I put them on the block list which means my phone only rings once & so it will keep a record of these calls which I will lust when I file my complaint.

I recieved a dozen or more calls from this number. I pushed the button and they hung up. So I called back, the guy knew my name, (so I’m in their database. He asked me to verify some “information,” stated that they were doing business for “Convergys?” and referenced Capitol One. I stated that I do not have any business dealings with either their client or their company, I refused to “confirm” anything and I said that if they really knew who I was then to send the requisite materials. I also stated if this is a “collection” then it is fraud as I don’t owe anybody anything. I then gave them my attorneys name and number. The guy on the line began apologizing and stated they would never call me again. I then reported them.
