Just checked it out. The 164 area code is for a city named Bathinda , in the Punjab region of India. Mystery solved! Now we just need to start sending these numbers to our insurance carriers with threats to change coverage unless THEY put a stop to it. I have a feeling that major insurance companies have far more resources to combat such things than WE do!

We received 2 calls this morning from that number and they did not leave a message. We did not answer it because of the weird area code and we thought it might be from another country. For one thing we do not know anyone outside of the USA. Just to let you know, we have also received calls from New York, a man with a Foreign accent, claiming they needed to update my daughter's medical information. My daughter told him that she did not need any updating and to not call us again. They called three times after she hung up with him, so we had that number blocked, but somehow it is no longer blocked; last call received 9/21/14, the first on 9/9/14. That New York number was 646-524-6575. Thanks for your info Tony and everyone!
