202-456-1111 is the phone number the white house uses to accept calls from civilians (just like how you can mail a letter to the president, same dept. that handles it basically which are just a bunch of volunteers). with that being said, they would never contact you! if someone does contact you from that number, it is typically someone using an app or program which allows you to send anonymous texts to a phone number of your choice (which is about as easy as getting and using netflix) and when you send the text the # you sent it from will be whatever number you make up. so chances are it's someone you know that sent it or some hacker/scammer/etc. sends a message to a mass number of random phone numbers out of a database.
I reckon he must have been caller ID spoofed because he wouldn't just send creepy messages like "I'm coming soon" to people.
My daughter is 8 and she got a random text from this number that said "I'm coming soon." And that's it. When I texted the number from my phone because my daughters isn't even fully activated it said " 12024561111 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Whose this?" creepy or what.
these people will just not leave you alone they call and call and call it's so aggravating
You can post comments to the President @ 1-202-456-1111.com. The website address is the same telephone number (1-202-456-1111) to call the President. When you call, volunteers will listen to your comments but will it reach the President? My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.
