Fermi's comment is obviously fake. Seeing as that is the only negative report, I see no reason to question this number. His comment does however confirm that this is the number of the Republican National Committee, which is why he is upset. The mailing address associated with the number is the same as the one on https://gop.com/.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
