Vehicle Warranty SCAM... also calls from the following numbers: 406-315-4172, 626-544-5386, 225-666-0007, 317-489-0155, 317-489-0143... Clearly they have the ability to call hop from all sorts of bogus numbers in the hopes that you'll pick up. They will not leave a message, but will try to get any and all personal information from you until you simply hang up on them. Immediately blocked on my phone.
Called my cell phone this morning, but the phone never rang. I have a setting on my phone where if I don't answer a call, it is immediately forwarded to my landline phone. It didn't ring either, and my call blocker only identified the call as --E--. Based on the comments above, will block this number every place I can. If it is the extended car warranty scammers as suggested above, this now makes the 11th different number they've used on me.
Received a call on my cell today from this number. No message left. Thank you to the folks who have posted the info about this call being from scammers.
This is a recorded voice that attempts to sound live by pretending to fumble over the beginning of the call. "She" offers a free cruise because you've "stayed on their property" in the past. "She" asks if you'd like to answer a couple of questions to receive your free vacation & this is where they record your "yes" & use it to charge many things to your phone bill and who knows what else! Do not answer this call & definitely NEVER SAY "YES."
