This is a call originating from a fax machine.. if you answer the call and hear the, "beep...beep...beep...," that's the fax machine trying to contact the destination fax modem. If you call 281-205-5716, you'll hear all the modem noises (sounds the same as dial-up internet, for those that remember such a thing) of their fax machine trying to talk to you. If you have access to your own fax machine, then the next time you answer a call from a fax and hear that slow, "beep...beep...beep...," try forwarding the call to your fax machine's number; if you did it quick enough before their fax timed out the call, then your fax machine should print off whatever their fax was sending. Usually, you'll be able to tell who sent the fax and where it was meant to go, if they included a fax header or a cover sheet.

Fax calling my landline. Typical fax pattern, 3 calls close together as someone's machine makes the normal 3 attempts. Then some free time, and a second set of 3.

I get these types of calls from time to time. They are a fax as noted above first from the Texas number and then 2 calls from Germany, 1 from Argentina and 2 more from Germany. These are coming to my cell so there is no way to forward to my fax machine.

I still get these calls each week around 15 a day. Have yours stopped?

Exact same thing happened to me. Didn't answer and I got calls from Germany and Argentina right after!

Have gotten calls from this number as well as international numbers and private name. Come in succession of 4 calls one right after the other. When I have not been home to answer it has filled up my voicemail. When I do answer live, it is the same beeping for a fax machine. This has happened several times this fall. I need them to stop as they have come in the middle of the night as well.
