It rang twice. I picked up and it was a recording saying it was time sensitive and to call back. Called back an it was answered CRA. I said B.S. and they hung up right away. Government only uses 1-800 toll free numbers.
This number is a scam outfit called CRA, pretending to be the Canadian revenue agency. They want personal information. Just hang up.
Got this recorded call too..If this is fake I'm wondering why CRA or other government agency does not do anything to stop this kind scam.
Received a voice message from this number asking me to return the call or have my regional attorney call. Called said his name was Officer Adam Shephard and if I didn't call him back then he wished me good luck with the urgent matter.
I had a message similar to the one described above. I actually asked my lawyer to call. When he blocked his number or called on his cell the call would not go through. Wish I had checked google before bothering my attorney. I was almost certain it was a scam but when the person "Officer Daniel Smith" was so determined to involve my lawyer it made me a bit anxious.
Got a similar call basically threatening me that if I didn't call back wishing me good luck with the upcoming fight. Definitely a scam no revenue Canada would call and leave a threatening message

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
