Try calling your phone service provider....There may be a fee, for example: $100. to Block a number / incoming calls.
same thing here - after 3 calls in one hour I picked up. It was a poor connection and a women with a thick accent - off shore boiler room I imagine. Asked if we had diabetis, I said no and she said God Bless and hung up. What the heck......
After 2+ weeks of this testosterone laced bovine excrement, there have been no calls for two days now :-) President/owner of Leads Network initiated inquiry with all of his call centers, reiterating that they are NOT to be using false names/numbers to ferret out these valuable "leads". Dunno if this or other actions contributed to calls stopping or if it was THIS: During the last call I received, I spoke VERY slowly and carefully asking the obviously language challenged individual on the line for more information about "Senior Diabetic Network". Since the caller continued talking over me and seemed not to comprehend what I was asking, I spoke slower and louder. Eventually he muttered something that sounded like "Mongoloid" and hung up . No calls since!
How do we get these people to stop calling!!!! I keep telling this caller to stop calling my house i am on the do not call registry this is absurd.
This number has been calling us 2 to 4 times a day for 2 weeks. I just verified that our phone number was on the national do not call list (it is) and then filed a complaint against this [***]. Do the same!
This has been happening to me all day. The times are as follows: 10:26 am,11:38 am, 12:54 pm, 1:54 pm., 2:18 pm, 3:10 pm, 3:54 pm, 4:23 pm, and just a few minutes ago, 4:53pm. When I pick up and say "hello", they hang up. When I call back it says that the number is no longer in service. I called the phone company and they said that it is a computer-generated call that blocks you from calling them back. Oddly enough, my husband has diabetes - so according to some of the posters *lucky* enough to get a courteous response (after all, they *are* calling *you*), this sounds like a scheme to bilk people out of personal info and/or money. As soon as I get off of here, I'm reporting it to the police department, as well. The AT&T operator suggested that I call the annoyance call bureau Monday. The number she gave me is 1-800-348-8727. Everyone tick-a-lock and don't tell them *anything* personal, not even your name! I smell a rat.
I received 6 calls from them since yesterday and a bunch during the week. I haven't answered. I'm in Va.
Same thing like 5 calls in one hour....Randall Freeman....number no longer in service when you call back
I too have received this annoying call several times today. Nobody answers when you say hello. Then they hang up. I filed a coimplaint with the FTC as somebody provided the contact info above. When trying to call this number I receive the message "number not in service" Everyone who gets this annoying call should take the same action until something is done.
