wanted to sell me diabetic supplies, I am not a diabetic, nor is anyone in this house
Blocking calls is a feature offered through your phone company. I'm in Eastern Washington State and we have QWest for phone service. They offer a feature called 'call blocking'. Maybe you can change phone companies?
They call me all the time asking if anyone in our house needs diabetic testing supplies, or stating that someone in our house made an inquiry about testing supplies. So obnoxious!
I don't want calls from the above phone number. I believe this company is trying to sell me diabetic supplies. I'm not interested!!!!!
Probably because you've deafened the person! While I agree they're annoying, I sure don't want to be the one responsible for someone losing their hearing who is just trying to feed their family.
Almost daily calls from the Senior Diabetic Network and no one in the house has diabetes
1-19-2011Someone keeps calling me saying that someone in my household is diabetic, I just hang up. I think the whistle is a great idea.
What would happen if you gave them false information (i.e., a made-up address, medicare number, birthdate, etc.)? Perhaps this would make them assume that they had accomplished their task, and they would stop calling. (But perhaps this would be only a temporary fix?) Barring this idea, I like the loud whistle (or air horn--don't forget them!). The problem with the "schpockem" idea is that I don't think I could do it with a straight face! Plus, they might just think that you're looking for Enterprise's First Officer!
here's what.. i accidentally discovers the secret of these calls who keeps calling..they are telemarketers forced to as people if they have been diagnose as diabeticand for some reasons its not fraud ..they can give you the supplies that will be payed by your insurance as long as the doctor approves it.. if the dctor does not then bye bye....regarding with the 000-000-0000 phone number..they are actually calling from a computerlogic.. coputer does not have caller idthey're bit annoying but i feel pity for those rats>> hahamy opinion
Don't know how they obtained my phone number, but they called today and I hung up on them because I could not get them to understand that my mother already receives her supplies from another company. After I hung up on them, they called with an accent again, I couldn't understand them and I had to explain all over again that we had no need for them. They had our address and not sure how they got any info on us, but I plan on finding out. Hopefully they will not call again. If they do, they are going to find out how well I can speak english. They are definitely a big nuisance. Delaware, can you check into this and get these people to stop bothering others?
