I just got a call from this number. I'm in Texas, the call was from California. I didn't answer as I don't know anyone there. They didn't leave a voicemail, so I have no idea what this is about.
Just received this phone call. And I was surprised to find out that I got their phone call about 10 days ago. Neither one was answered by me.
Just called left no message on my voice mail, when I call back it rings like a busy signal.
On the iPhone, look at your recent calls. Click the blue circle with the "i" in it on the right of the number / call you would like to block; this opens the "Info" screen about that call. Scroll to the bottom, click "Block this Caller". (this is how it works on the iPhone 6; guess they are all the same/similar).
Got called at 7:45 PM in Phoenix, AZ. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I called back and just get a quick busy signal.

NOTE: You must call from the phone number you wish to register.2) KNOW THE LAW:*Telemarketers and sellers are required to search the registry at least once every 31 days and drop from their call lists the phone numbers of consumers who have registered.*If you subscribe to CALLER ID, you should know when a telemarketer is calling you: telemarketers are required to transmit Caller ID information and may not block their numbers.*Telemarketers must ensure that predictive dialers abandon no more than 3% of all calls placed and answered by a person. A call will be considered "abandoned" if it is not transferred to a live sales agent within 2 seconds of the recipient's greeting. As a result, you are less likely to run to answer the phone only to find silence or the "click" of the calling party disconnecting the line.*Telephone solicitation calls to your home before 8 am or after 9 pm are prohibited.*Anyone making a telephone solicitation call to your home must provide his/her name, the name of the entity on whose behalf the call is being made, and a telephone number or address at which you may contact that entity.*When To File a Do-Not-Call Complaint: In addition to complaints alleging violations of the national do-not-call list, you may also file a complaint against a telemarketer who is calling for a commercial purpose (e.g., not charitable organizations) IF:*The telemarketer calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM;*The telemarketer leaves a message, but fails to leave a phone number that you can call to sign up for their company specific do-not-call list;*You receive a telemarketing call from a company that you have previously requested not call you;*The telemarketing firm fails to identify itself;*You receive a pre-recorded commercial message from someone with whom you do not have an established business relationship and to whom you have not given permission to call you.3) FILE A COMPLAINT:*Call 1-888-225-5322 (TTY: 1-888-835-5322).*Fax 1-866-418-0232 (see what to send below).*Complete electronic complaint form found at www.fcc.gov and www.donotcall.gov.*Mail completed electronic form OR indicate:your name, address, phone number where you received the solicitation, identification of the individual or company whose products or services were being advertised or sold, and any phone numbers included in the call, a description of the call, any phone number provided to allow you to “opt-out” of future calls, whether you or anyone else in your household gave the caller express prior permission to call, whether you have an EBR with the caller (specifically, whether you or anyone else in your household made any purchases of property, goods, or services from the company that called, or made any inquiry or filed an application with the company prior to receiving the call). Send it to:Federal Communications Commission Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau Consumer Inquiries and Complaints Division 445 12th Street, SW Washington, DC 205544) FILE AN ACTION IN COURT:*In addition to filing a complaint with the FCC, consumers may explore the possibility of filing an action in a state court. For information, you may contact the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau in the following ways:*Online at www.fcc.gov.*Call 1-888-225-5322 (TTY: 1-888-835-5322).5) ASK QUESTIONS:*For this info or any other consumer publication in an alternative format (electronic ASCII text, Braille, large print, or audio) please email FCC504@fcc.gov.6) DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS #, NOR SHOULD YOU CALL IT BACK (MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC CALLER):*It's likely they are calling at inappropriate hours hoping to get a better contact rate (one is more likely to answer an unknown # during these hours because it might be an emergency from a family member or friend, etc).*The fact that there is never a person to speak to says they're not selling anything, but rather trying to find out if your # is active (by you answering or knowing if the # has an active voicemail box set up).*They could be doing this to create an active phone # list to sell to multiple other companies and even use themselves from a different number. *They may also be logging the times of day you answer your phone to get better contact rates when using for the purpose above.*They may be using your # to port others to 900 #s, then making you responsible for the cost of the call.*They're clearly running this business illegally from the get-go by the times of day they're calling (also by not identifying themselves, etc. as listed above), so I would recommend never answering this call, nor calling it back. They're trying to make a profit and we don't want it coming out of our pockets! 7) INFO ABOUT THE CALLS I RECEIVED:*Called me on 12/1/14 at 714pm.*Called again immediately after at 715pm.*I did not answer either call & do not have VM set up on my phone.*I searched the # online vs. calling it back and based on the info I found decided not to try calling the # back.*They called my cell phone, so I went into my 'Call Settings' and added their # to my 'Blocked #s' list. *I also filed a complaint online, which doesn't take much time and helps everyone in the long run.*My area code: 480, city: Phoenix, Arizona. I hope this helps! Good luck to all!♥ Tiffany Rose
I received a call from this number and do not know who it is. Apparently there are many others also receiving unwanted calls from this number. I was unable to answer which may have been a blessing. Very few friends have my number so this must have been a prank or sales call. How can I stop this person/company from calling me?
