313 919-5840 Robo Call recorded message. "Won Free Cruise to Bahamas".Since Nothing is free blocked number!06/03/2015
EMF, I agree, why would you pick up phone and answer these calls, that just tells them it is a good working number to keep calling, can never figure out people, if its important they will leave a message, wish we can do something about all these useless piece of garbage that has nothing better to do but scam people
Received this call tonite regarding a free cruise - hung up and called the number back - got a message the number has been changed or is disconnected - obviously a scam call with a spoofed number
I retyrned the call since I missed the inbound call to me and the message said the number was disconnected or that I had dialed incorrectly (which isn't the case since I used redial). Interesting, probably a scammer in my opinion.
I got a call on my cell phone yesterday different number; same message as today on my home phone: Don't hang up... the government has a way to forgive your student loans. Interesting, since I am long since retired, and my student loans which were not from the government have been paid off YEARS AGO. I wouldn't have answered except that I was out and startled. And this morning's call woke me up. As soon as they started talking about the so called student loan, I hung up.
The second time within 15 minutes that 313-910-5940 called me, I got a nasal, shrill female screeching "CONGRATULATIONS..." It appears that if I answer a "survey" I will win cruise tickets. I happened to be on the Do Not Call Registry website complaining about their previous call when I took the call, so I reported them twice.
Call 1st came through about a selection for a free cruise. Next time, I missed the call, called the number back and it was disconnected.
I've had calls from this number almost daily for several weeks. The caller says, "Congratulation!" and tells me that I've won a free cruise. I hang up without listening to further details.
Call from this number 313-910-5940 on 7/27/2015 around 6PM. The recording, it isn't a real person, told me because of my past usage I was eligible for a free trip to Florida. I kept answering the recorded questions for what the recording was looking for, until I was asked about having a credit card, When I said "No". The call hung up. Assuming the call was from a spammer trying to get credit card info.
