Asked for me by name and went into long spiel about veterans. I said I did not donate on the phone. He said "Thanks" and we both hung up. Will block.
Got a call asking for "Carol." (Sounds like a standard routine.) I said there was no one here by that name, so he said "Maybe you can help me" and then went into some spiel for Veterans Affairs. I just set the phone down and walked away. Let him ramble on until he gives up.
Yeah, this trash called me, too. Found the number on my phone call log but it was blocked because of all the numbers coming from the 323 area code.
Answered "hello unavailable" (as that is what came up on ID) - click - they hung up. Called them back & machine answered with "Fund-raising Drive" (no association with a cause) & gave you option of not being called back again or ending the call...seems scammish to me.
