Received a call from this number into the 972 area code. I did not answer but quickly off hook/on hook to cut it off. I called the number. It was answered so if the number was spoofed on the original call, it was spoofed to a legitimate number. I blocked the number.

This may be political fundraising call. Did not show up on caller ID and did not leave message on machine. Number showed up as phone was ringing.before I answered. I received another call, but the number did not show up either. When I answered, they said they were fundraising for political campaign. I told them not to call back although I'd given to their campaign previously and told them previously not to call again. I'm not sure if this is political call number, it is a land line. ?it could be a person calling me or a wrong number... ? Not sure.

Spoofing for info

Caller ID read "Out of Area"When I answered there was a long pause and then the guy said hello and MY name? I could hear the boiler room noise in the background. I stayed quiet on the line until he hung up. I'm pretty sure this was a political call also since the name he used is not the name I use here at work for business purposes.

Phone rang: ID says "Out of Area". Picked up for kicks. No one answered. Frustration and misdirection when I entered the number into my browser search window. I never got a straight answer from any source I tried. I suspect the number is "spoofed" so I'll just block it.

Called home landline during noon hour. Let it ring. No message.

Had this number call me. I picked up, they said "Can I speak to non-profit." I said "I think you may have the wrong number." They said "Ok,' and hung up.
